Hi, I’m Cathy and I have worked with children in early years, key stage 1, after school clubs and forest school for over 15 years. I am a qualified Teacher and Forest School Leader.

I have a deep love of the natural world and am passionate about learning outdoors and feeling connected as part of nature. I love working with younger children as it’s a real pleasure to be part of their journey of discovery. I am excited to be part of the team at The Learning Meadow, where children can learn and grow freely, in a wonderful natural environment.

At home, I enjoy family time with my two grown up children, when they drop by, as well as working with my hands:  drawing and painting, upcycling/refurbishing, sewing and crafting. I love spending time outdoors, camping, open water swimming and walking in the woods or by the sea. Music is another passion for me, both going to gigs, practising at home and singing in our community choir.
